We are only 18 miles below Bear Valley Ski Resort, 1 mile above Calaveras Big Trees State Park and 7 Miles above Arnold California. This Highway closes for the Winter at Bear Valley, however you can get to Tahoe, Carson City and other parts of Nevada
during the Summer by using Ebbetts Pass.
It's worth a trip up and over - May through October.
